About the internet

The internet is a global networking of computers working like the postal system. It uses the TCP/IP language, that can send and recieve digital information. 

The origin of internet is ARPAnet, created by the US Defence Department’s Advanced Research Projects Agency in the 1960's.

The web is a system for publishing pages with information on the Internet. Web pages are written in text with Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), then uploaded to a host computer running web server software.

Getting connected

A home broadband connection will allow you to access the internet. To connect to the internet you need a router that connects the computer to the net. Your computer will then ask for the router's password. This is usually printed somewhere on the router's case.

Also you can use Wi-Fi that allows you to acces to the Internet with no cables. Also you can connect your mobile to the internet too.

Downloads

To download files, films or music you only need to search it on the web browser, go to a web and search the site to download it. Also, its recommended to have a good antivirus, because many files that you download can have virus, and that's dangerous.

Social networking

A social networking is a website when people interact to others sending messages, photos and videos. Two of the most famous websites are Facebook and Twitter. Twitter allows the users to post small comments called "Tweets", and other people can respond and share it. Famous people has it and they have many followers. Facebook allows you to create your own profile like a noticeboard, publish photos, videos, comments, etc.

You have to be careful what you upload on the web because many people has lost job oportunities because of that, and rarely, many people has been jailed.

People usually use the e-mail to send messages, images or videos to other people they know the e-mail direction. Also you can recive many diferents mails from other webs announcing you products or updates. You can make that certain mails go to a different tray, for example: You can make that all your teacher send to you it goes to a tray called "Homework".

I use the e-mail to recover passwords I lost, or sending practices to my mates, because to talk to friends or something else I use other applications.

A NORMAL WEEK

I get up at 7:30 AM in the morning and I eat my breakfast. At 8:15 AM I take my moto and I go to high school. I am studying middle level professional studies of microcomputer systems and networking. All we do in this course is about computing: How it works, what parts it has, network connection... Here you have all the subjects we do:

• Installation and maintenance of equipment

• Operating systems single-site: this subject is about how works the software of the computer

• Office applications

• Web applications

• Local networks

• Training and career guidance: this is about the risks we could have in our future job 

• English

I finish at 3:00 PM and i go home, there I have lunch and i do my homework. In the afternoons I usually watch series or play games on the Internet, but 2 days a week I go to the gym 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Also, on fridays I go to english classes in Masterclass 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

At weekends I get up at 9:30 AM. I usually spend my time the same that I do all the week: playing games, watching series... Also, sometimes I meet my friends and we go to the cinema.

The Big Bang Theory

The Big Bang Theory is an American sitcom produced and directed by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady about the quotidian life of a group of scientists and his neighbour Penny.

Leonard and Sheldon are friends who live and work together in California. They're brilliant scientists but their habilities are useless to make relationships with normal people, often women.

Characters:

Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki): 

He's a physical who works in Caltech and friend of Sheldon. He likes meet he's friends, but sometimes he's embarassed to be too friki and he tries to be more social with other people. Leonard seems like the most normal of all the group but he don't know what to talk to the girls.

Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons):

Sheldon Lee Cooper is a physical who works in the same university with Leonard, in Pasadena. His character is very different of Leonards'. He's proud to be a genious dedicated to the science, but he have an obsessive compulsive disorder.








Penny (Kaley Cuoco): 

Penny is a waiter of "The Cheesecake Factory" and the neighboour of Leonard and Sheldon. She's from Nebraska, and she went to California to be an actress. She's pretty and friendly but in the other hand she's ignorant, messy and not very intelligent.






Howard Joel Wolowitz (Simon Helberg):

He's a jewish engineer of the department of applied physics. He says that he's not friend of Sheldon because he makes it angry sometimes. Every time he saws Penny tries to impress her to make her feel in love.





Rajesh Ramayan Koothrappali "Raj" (Kunal Nayyar):

He's the best friend of Howard, he admire Stephen Hawking, but he's opposing to meet grils. He's from India but he had moved to California and he works in the department of physic, in the area of astroparticle physics. He suffers from social anxiety with women, wich is demostrated in his silence.

Hi!

My name is Biel. I'm 16 years old and  I live in Les Preses. I live with my parents and my older sister. I haven't pet. Now a days I'm studying in INS Bosc de la Coma a medium grade about computer systems and networks. Also, I studied ESO in the same high shcool and primary education in Verntallat, located in La Vall d'en Bas.
















Last summer I didn't go abroad, I stayed at home, and in the mornings i went to english clases.

In my free time I like playing videogames at the computer, watching films and series, or watching videos on Youtube. Also I like to meet friends and go to the cinema too. My favourite subject is English because I'm good at it.

I'm 1'82 meters high. I've got short hair and blue eyes. I'm a shy boy, and I don't like noise or people that speak a lot. I usually wear sweatshirt and long trousers.
